Two Vehicles Towed After Crash

GOSHEN, MA – Goshen firefighters along with a crew from Highland Ambulance and the MA State Police were called to the scene of a motor vehicle crash at 1515 hours yesterday on State Route 112 at the entrance to the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) state forest.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of the Chevrolet Suburban had his left hand directional on when he mistook a new driveway on the west side of the road for the entrance. A Toyota Highlander attempted to pass on the right of the turning vehicle when the Suburban suddenly took a right into the entrance of the park.

The low speed collision resulted with both cars in a snowbank and minor injuries to the occupants.

The northbound lane of Route 112 was closed for over an hour during the incident while waiting for tow trucks to arrive and to allow crews to work safely around the scene.
