ASHFIELD, MA – Goshen firefighters were asked to respond with our ‘jaws’ under mutual aid to the town of Ashfield for a motor vehicle rollover with entrapment on Route 112.
Overnight winds blew snow from Tuesday’s storm back onto already cleared roadways only to leave them slippery and snow-covered in time for the morning commute.
While responding with our Engine 2, Northampton Control notified us that the occupant was out of the car and would ultimately be transported to Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield by Highland Ambulance.
Upon arrival, Goshen E2 took up a blocking position to the south side of the incident and cleared the scene after the tow truck removed the vehicle from the roadway.
Congratulations to firefighter Jonathan Stanislawski for getting through his first response as a member of the Department.
