GOSHEN, MA – Two area residents injured in a two-car accident here Tuesday night remained hospitalized in fair condition yesterday.

Both were passengers in a 1997 Dodge Stratus driven by David Brooks, 53, of Conway, according to state police.

Brooks was driving east on Route 9, when a westbound 1988 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Joshua Magdalenski, 17, of Goshen, attempted to turn onto South Main Street and collided with him, police said in a prepared statement.

David Brooks and Magdalenski were both treated and released at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

Magdalenski is being charged with failure to yield when turning and with operating to endanger, state police said yesterday.
