Ashfield, MA – Mutual Aid for House Fire
Goshen firefighters responded on March 13th at 11:17 am with Engine 2 to Emmett Rd in Ashfield for a home with with smoke showing. Our department responded upon request from Ashfield Fire.
A recent snowstorm and long driveway required assistance from Ashfield highway to make the access open to apparatus.
Goshen units performed interior operations with other departments for a failed fireplace that allowed extension into a wall. The home had damage to one wall but the was saved.
Crew and engine were back home around 2:45 pm.
