Paula Mogelinski, a program support assistant, has been named employee of the month for February at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Leeds.

She was nominated by her co-workers for her positive and friendly attitude. She has been at the center since 1976.

Kristal J. Bluemer of Northampton has been offered Regis College’s $8,000 Presidential Scholarship. The award is made to selected incoming freshmen at the school which is in Weston.

Michael W. Wilkes was born March 16 to Jeffrey and Margaret (Coffey) Wilkes of Wrentham. Paternal grandparents are William and Phyllis Wilkes of Northampton. His great grandmother is Anna Baceski of North Hatfield.

Cummington’s 4-H Sheep Club has elected new officers. They are: Niki Gokey, president, Andrew Hukowicz, vice president, Nathan Loux treasurer and Ashley Mimitz secretary.

Lilly Ann West was born last month to David and Chantel (Frew) West of Goshen. Grandparents are Lucy and Dick West of Williamsburg and Doris Frew of Goshen.

Sue Labrie of the Goshen Fire Department recently visited the Goshen Center School so give the second part of a fire safety course to all classes.
