CHESTERFIELD, MA – GARAGE FIRE
On Monday, Goshen Fire along with several other fire departments were called for a fully involved garage fire on Ireland St. Goshen responded with five firefighters in Car 1 and Engine 2.
The fire was reported by a neighbor.
A column of smoke was visible from Route 143 heading down toward the Chesterfield Gorge.
Upon arrival Goshen joined Chesterfield Fire and other firefighters in suppression and water supply operations.
When you viewed the shared pictures please consider the side of the house that looks melted. Firefighters defended the home while attacking the garage. The home is habitable and repairable.
